Our take
I picked up the Dell UltraSharp U3415W for my home office, and the ultrawide 21:9 screen is fantastic for multitasking. The 3440x1440 resolution gives plenty of room for spreadsheets and documents side by side. However, the 60 Hz refresh rate and 8 ms response time make it less ideal for fast-paced gaming. Also, note that it doesn't come with a stand, so you'll need a VESA mount or a separate stand. The curved design is immersive for work, but the 300 cd/m² brightness is just average. If you're looking for a productivity monitor and already have a mounting solution, this is a solid choice at $249.
