I tried the Dell S2721HGF for competitive gaming. The 144Hz and 1ms response are ideal for fast shooters. The curved 27-inch screen is immersive, and the 3000:1 contrast ratio delivers good black levels. 1080p on 27 inches is fine for gaming but not the sharpest for desktop use. G-SYNC compatibility works well with my NVIDIA GPU. The monitor lacks height adjustment and has no USB ports. At $155, it's a good budget option for high-refresh gaming, but note the contrast ratio is listed as 3000.1 which seems high for a VA panel.
