Our take
The Dell SE2426H is a solid all-rounder. The IPS panel delivers vibrant colors and excellent viewing angles, a big step up from TN. The 144 Hz and 1 ms response time make gaming feel fluid, and HDMI 2.1 is a nice future-proof touch. FreeSync works without issues. The 300 cd/m² brightness is adequate for most rooms. My only gripe is the contrast ratio—1000:1 is typical for IPS, so blacks aren't as deep as VA. Also, it lacks height adjustment, only tilts. For $140, it's a well-rounded monitor that balances gaming performance with color accuracy.
